Scott, I can't recall the exact amount of times I have seen it, but yes, I do recall more than once when someone here said they did well on marplan but not on nardil or parnate.
Considering how fast and potent savella was to me I am surprised it has not done the same with you. But then, I shouldn't be surprised, because it just goes to show how all of us are so uniquely different. I guess you could fairly say you've given the whole reuptake blockage thing all the chance in the world.
If you are still taking lamictal and/or abilify, I can't help but wonder if either or both are somehow actually interfering with progress rather than helping. For example, based on studies lamictal has never shown longterm efficacy. At best it delays a relapse but does not prevent anything. Abilify, well, as with all antipsychotics, at a high enough dose there is just too much artificial tweeking going on. Admittedly we all need some tweeking, but I can't help but wonder if something like 20mg is so much as to prevent other stuff from taking hold.
Anyway, I like the idea of marplan. I'm in your corner on that one, if that's what you decide to do. In your corner anyway, no matter what.
