Savella is much stronger on NE. Pristiq is basically a glorified SSRI with hardly any effect on NE, and is almost disingenuis to call it an SNRI. I feel. All meds have unique things about them that we can't describe, put our fingers on, or explain. Much we don't know. We do not Savella is much stronger on NE than Pristiq is, but that's about it.
It all makes no difference anyway. Because there is absolutely no way to predict in advance via armchair quarterbacking which med would work and which wouldn't. Knowing something about the med's basic mechanism can help predict side effect intensity, but not whether it will work or not.
