If someone is to relapse after discontinuing drug treatment, it will usually happen within the first four months. There is a phenomenon known as withdrawal rebound depression. It occurs upon drug discontinuation, and is transient. I am not convinced that there is a long delay between when a drug is discontinued and when a withdrawal rebound depression begins. So, if you felt well for a few months before feeling depressed again, I would think that to be a relapse rather than a withdrawal rebound.
You don't sound as if you are prepared to restart antidepressants at this point in time. I don't blame you. You invested a lot of time and experienced a lot of pain to get off of them.
