Lyrica For Pain Versus Psychotropic Effects?

This is for people on lyrica. I know the psychotropic effects disappear fairly fast. How about lyricas effects on neuropathic pain? Do you have to keep escalating the dose? Once you reach a certain dose does the pain reduction effect persist for a period of months?
