Involuntary movements from Seroquel

Posted by Dan_MI on May 19, 2010, at 22:22:12

I had an extremely embarrassing tic today when I was walking down the sidewalk. I felt something like a static shock on my left fingertips and my fore arm lurched to the side at a completely unnatural angle. I just pretended it didn't happen and did not look around to see if anyone saw it.

I've always had violent, vocal movements in my twilight sleep, but these tics only started after the Seroquel.

My mental health provider was a nurse, and her consultation consisted of a (badly) photocopied questionnaire. It was the only form of mental health care my insurance would cover.

She never mentioned anything about the involuntary movements. People should be warned more intensely. They strenuously warn you about the rash from Lamictal...

Any experiences overcoming tics?
