Tricyclic Lovers: Desipramine or Pamelor

Since Desimpramine (Norpramin) or Pamelor (Nortriptyline) tend to be the most common tricyclics nowadays, what tends to be the difference between the two? Is one better for anxiety and other for depression or are they very similar?
