I've increased my dosage to 150 mg. about a week ago. I'll be having blood work done on Tuesday to measure my levels.
I know when I did increases to 75 and 100 mgs. I had a couple of days of increased fatigue but it seemed to level out. With this increase I've remained very tired and quite irritable. The irritability could be due to the fact I have a friend staying with me, who constantly on the go. I've explained that when I am doing a med change or increase, I try to keep myself and my surroundings as quiet as possible. I know she's going through a rough time herself but I'm finding myself having to bite my tongue frequently.
One thing I find is that I'm sleeping very deeply (no complaints about that), but I'm wondering if the clomipramine is increasing the effects of the .5 clonazapam and 7.5 zopiclone I take a bedtime.
Does anyone know if clomipramine can enhance the effects of these two meds? I'm wondering if I even need them anymore, but as I have been taking them for years I'm not sure how to discontinue them, and if I would experience some withdrawals. If I would experience withdrawals, I think I would rather wait until I've adjusted more to the increase of clomipramine.
I still feel pretty unmotivated, but I'm not sure if it's due to the fatigue I'm feeling or my depressive state.
Coccyx pain is still managed very well by the clomipramine. Side effects are extreme dry mouth and a bit if dizziness when I stand up too quickly. This is a drug that feels very different to me from SSRI's. I don't know quite how to explain it, but so far it just feels better. I think I'm about 50 to 60% better that I was before I started it. I wonder if it can get me to 100%.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
