Propranolol prevents fainting!

Posted by Deneb on June 22, 2010, at 17:51:04

My pdoc is so wrong! She was worried about propranolol making my fainting episodes worse, but today I've discovered it is the opposite that happens.

I took another long hot bath today and guess what? I didn't faint! I didn't get the tachycardia and reflexive bradycardia. The propranolol must have stopped the rush of adrendaline from happening, thereby preventing the tachycardia and the abnormal reflex that leads to fainting in neurocardiogenic syncope.

I actually took a bath without feeling sick, dizzy or blacking out!

Wow, propranolol is like some kind of miracle drug for me! LOL

It prevents anxiety, tremors and fainting!
