Asthma from long-term neurontin use/abuse

Posted by stewie on July 2, 2010, at 22:12:12

OK, I really feel like I am shilling for a law-suit, but I am not. I just would like some feedback about breathing difficulties related to neurontin/gabapentin.

I have had asthma symptoms for a few months, and was diagnosed with it a few weeks back.

In the interest of full disclosure, I am not taking this med "honestly" all the time; I often take much more than is prescribed. Yes. This is called abuse, I know.

Anyway, I have this sense that neurontin is making all of this worse. I suppose it could also be lifestyle, because I am incredibly sedentary. Of course, no docs in either of the 2 specialties involved think that it is anything but allergies. Still, I wonder...
I'd really appreciate feedback. I'm not getting good luck with google searches, but I am seeing it a littl.
Thanks
