In groups of animals such as apes and wolves, non-alpha males have lower levels of testosterone and higher levels of anxiety. They appear physically lest healthy and virile as the alpha. So yes, I think it is fair to say that low levels of T can cause anxiety.
There is a link between high levels of bodyfat and estrogen. Meds like Remeron and the antipsychotics definitely affect metabolism and cause a sort of "feminizing" of the body (not saying being feminine is bad, of course), including increased levels of body fat, hypothyroidism and passivity.
