The UPMC diet is outdated, too, as it still says no on mozzarella cheese. Mozzarella isn't aged and is thus fine to consume in whatever amounts (gotta love my cheese sticks!!). Shulman and Walker 1999 found that double pepperoni/double mozzarella pizzas from major chains contained no tyramine-- I'm still careful on the pepperoni though because I'm paranoid but I think other sources have said fine on the mozzarella too. It just goes to show that most of the diets are overly restrictive.
