I've done it a couple of times in the past quite well, but when I was young and clueless I went cold turkey off a high does of Xanax and that was a rather unpleasant experience. I'll never go cold turkey off benzo's ever again. Don't rush it and if you need to stay at a certain does for longer than expected, do it, you have to be quite flexible for the best results. Don't forget the Valium towards the end if you need it either.
