mood was good while switching meds?????????

Hello everyone, I have a strange question...while tapering off Prozac (60 down to 40 to 20 then stop) and starting clomipramine 50mg, I noticed that my mood was much better when the two drugs were in my system overlapping. Now that the Prozac is slowing leaving my system, I am starting to feel worse. Still on the 50mg clomipramine.
Anyone had this type of thing happen? Is it an indication that I should take the two drugs together? (I know you're not really supposed to combine these two.)
Or is it some other phenomenon taking place?
Any insight greatly appreciated!
