I've heard this before. It seems that antipsychotics are bad news for the cardiovascular system, partly due to their effects on metabolism eg. lipids elevated, impaired glucose tolerance... as well as risk of thrombosis and stroke.

A lot of people on Zyprexa and Seroquel also take statins, metformin (Glucophage), antihypertensives, Xenical etc etc to deal with these issues.
