Thank you all for your replies. I was especially wondering if women might tend to do better on lower dosages than the standard mg/kg recommendation. Some things I have read have suggested that women tend to process antidepressants in general a bit differently from men and so should possibly be started on lower doses.
Not that this would be true across the board -- both men and women can be slow, average, or rapid metabolizers of different substances it seems, but perhaps women are more likely to need doses that differ from standard recommendations.
I have been doing pretty well on 30 mg of Nardil so far. But I also seem to responding to it atypically, so maybe I'm just weird -- have been losing weight(!) to such a degree that I have to make myself eat in order to avoid losing too much, for example.
