Hello everyone... I posted on here several years ago. Had to re-register for some reason.
Anyway, was looking for some advice as there is no real treatment for my new diagnosis.
I am just 41 y.o. and my Autonomic Nervous System is way out of whack to put it simply.
I'm still dealing with the terrible anxiety and now bad depression.
When I stand up or change positions, I get all sorts of symptoms, now what appear to be Neurologic in nature, wonderful !!!
My Hormones are all whacked out. Very low Testosterone. Low aldosterone, progesterone, estradiol, dhea, and a few others...
I am now on Coreg at just 41 year old. It's crazy as I'm at high does 25mg 2 x day. My Adrenaline is still crazy all day. Hard to believe I've hung in all this time, but I have my kids to raise. I do get out and not much of this is situational. I will be seeing an Endo. very soon to try and sort this out. The anxiety has gotten so bad, some days I take enough meds to knock out an elephant, yet I'm still wide awake.
I was told I have Lyme disease (now neuro) and I did IV Abx for a while, but this just made me worse. My adrenals are stressed out. Saliva Cortisol show way high moring and afternoon levels. Also had an IGFBP-3 which was 2000 points about the ref. range. My readings suggest it is pituitary related. I hope to get to the bottom of this soon. My heart is fine. The anxiety I feel is all over, but not in the form of heart palps. It's like that Akathesia feeling at times, but I feel adrenaline shooting up and down the Aorta, into the chest, and even weird stuff in the head.
Hard to believe the Coreg doesn't bring it down. Xanax might as well be a bad tasting candy. I havn't even addressed the Depression part yet as the whacked out hormones could be causing this on it's own.
Lot of fun over here..
Much more to tell you.........Greg
