Zaleplon ie Sonata had mood brightening effects for me but Ambien did not.


Sonata is very short acting and no withdrawal or side effects like amnesia or feeling hung over.


According to the drug monograph, it only has preferential binding to the omega 1 receptor of GABA a subset receptors.

Maybe someone can find this info at the FDA drugs section of that site.

I tried All sleep meds. Sorry but right now I am unable to focus enough to look it up myself for you.
