Wow thats a great article. It was interesting where it said the brain can produce all the serotonin it wants, but it doesn't matter if there is no p11 receptor to bind to. Maybe this is why so many do not respond to SSRIs. They increase the serotonin but do not address the core problem. So once the mice are given the virus with the p11 protein will the mice continue to produce the gene/receptor or will they need to be constantly receiving the virus, like taking a drug routinely?
Complaints: post-SSRI problems: anhedonia, memory and concentration problems, sexual dysfunction. )
