It is not any easier than meds however, because the choices are staggering and it is still trial and error.
Furthermore herbs, plants, or supplements that help the symptom might not be commonly used for that symptom. In my case, who would have ever guessed a weed called Japanese Knotweed and a handful of specialty supplements would take me closer to remission than 15 years of meds?
I wish you all the best. I think that when someone has been on a psychiatric prescription journey for 10 to 20 years and not making progress, that is strong enough indication to change course....it's something else that those meds aren't touching.
