Please share some more info - have you been on stimulant medication before? I have, and also had my share of experiences to lead to PTSD symptoms.
Stimulant medications, after few years, and some dental work, did it - I ended up with spasmatic unilateral (one sided) muscle spasms with pain.
DO NOT IGNORE THIS!.

I have seen a guy getting a refill for methylphenidate (ritalin) while his muscles of the jaw were spastic. This made me think about my experience with stimulants, which is very similar- serious jaw muscle spasms while on larger doses on stimulants.

This makes sense, as the treatment for facial pain and even PTSD is regulation of sympathetic autonomic system. Either with a drugs or medical procedure intended to reduce muscle/pain activity by altering body's sympathetic system - heart rate, muscle spasms, etc. One of the meds used to do that is clonodine. If it helps, stellate ganglion block might be considered. Another procedure procedure - botox injections into the muscles, (this is something new that FDA has been investigating and recently aproved [?]

Get the so called bruxism device, but there are many. Some doctors go as far as rebuilding your whole mouth. So be careful. My insurance paid most of the costs back in the day for what is properly called as mouth guard or a splint - that opens up your mouth to prevent you from biting all the way down.

Make sure you address related possible issues in your neck/upper back if you have pain there, or even orthopedic check - for example my issues are all on the right side - early life injury to my feet, chronic upper back pain, and then pain and muscle spasms - everything on the right side.
