I don't know, just speculating based on my own experience, which is admittedly very limited.
I've certainly read lots of anecdotal accounts of people being helped by low-dose lithium (even 150 mg) - if I were going to take it just for neurotrophic benefit and not as a mood stabilizer I think I would shoot for something like 300-450 mg, but that's just a guess. I didn't "feel" anything at those doses but there may still be some long term benefit. Good luck, whatever you decide!
