I was not able to convince my pdoc to rx this, or find a new pdoc before the parnate got rid of my depression and i decided i could come off it to focus on treating ADHD.
If slowly titrated, i think the TCA would reduce risk of blood pressure problems (preventing tyramine crisis), though average bp would probably go up. nort would also reduce/prevent risk of 5ht syndrome.
i did use adrafinil with parnate to reduce tiredness.
There have been some clinical trials invovling combination of TCA and MAOI that you might want to show him or her.
