It's 4am where I am. I wonder if the declining efficacy I've experienced is due to weeks of non refreshing sleep. I cut off the caffeine at 10 am yesterday and was of no help. I wake up every day early, and almost feel like I have a hangover. Last night, I took two Klonopin at 12am. If I take doxylamine, I sleep longer but not ax much, and still awaken as if I have a mild alcohol hangover plus an anticholinergic one. Dalmane my insurance will cover. When I took it years ago, it seemed to work well. Temazepam works well for initiation but not so much maintenance. I am tempted to go to the ER to ask for a script to cover me till my next appointment. That way, if it does work, my shrink would be unwise to not give me a refill. What do you guys think? I mean, one can only operate on insufficient sleep for so long. Ambien would be a no for me, as I've done STRANGE things during the night on it. So tired. I wish antihistamines were a good solution for me as they're so benign. Traz also causes a nasty hangover. And I have a terrible phobia of APs based on one experience plus things I've read, seen, and heard from others. If I do this, it WILL be hard. ER docs often don't take kindly to people coming in asking for benzos.
