To be honest, i dont think thr Zolfot does anything for me..... over the years i have tried citralopram, fluoxetine, Sertraline and venlaflaxine and none seem to have had much effect..... where as noradrenalin ficused antidepressants such as reboxetine and nortriptyline have had a dramatic effect.
The reason i take the Zoloft is because my shrink seemed to feel that if ou had panic disorder, you had to be on an SSRI before he's consider treating you with a benzo.
I'd probably start remeron, taper Zoloft over 10 days, and then taper the risperidone over a few days, and see how things went. The reason I thought of stopping the risperidone as well as the Zoloft is that both act as potent 5HTantagonists, so there might not be much point in taking both.....just thinking out loud.
But if remeron leaves you sedated during the day, and makes you gain weight, I realy dont want it. I have dropped 46 pounds this year and I dont want to gain it back.
