I realize that you are in a very difficult situation, having mental illness and a substance abuse problem. Somehow, you must come to the realization that the drugs which will best treat your mental illness will not make you feel how you want to feel. Instead, if you find the right treatment (which may not involve drugs), you will simply not need further "adjustments". What I see in your list is a recipe for recurring need.
