Have a friend who became a psychiatrist. You know, all the work and debts incurred by med school. When she began practice, it dawned on her that she disliked it so much. Think she was a bit grief stricken. She felt too little time with patients, insurance difficulties and that she had to be vigilant of medicine abuse. She said she felt like the pharma police. An unhappy situation in which she took no pleasure.
Oh, yes. Her complaints of all the drug reps buying lunches for her entire office, and how she found it necessary to refuse their gifts. A daily occurrence :-/
