personally I am no fan of cymbalta. It has a reputation for weight gain, sedation and a bad discontinuation.
If you have pain as well as depression, Id consider it. Otherwise Id try SSRI + NRI first.
A lot of docs push cymbalta and effexor before they even try other combos. Many do not believe in discontinuation syndrome.
