I take 20mg of immediate release dexedrine every 4-6 hours daily. I never take drug holidays. There is virtually no euphoria, nothing except _calm_ and a slightly suppressed appetite. The only other stimulant I would have an interest in trying is methamphetamine. I have tried all the other ones, nothing works like taking the dextroamphetamine three times a day.
The subjective effects of amphetamine do not directly correlate with plasma levels or the half-life of the drug as they do with, let's say, methylphenidate. The effect is complex, especially with chronic dosing.
