I've been on Xanax for years by prescription from my pdoc (1mg q.i.d.) and it works very well for my panic disorder. I almost never get anxiety and I can't remember the last time I had a panic attack. Interestingly enough I haven't developed a tolerance to the daytime drowsiness produced by it.

alprazolam 1mg QID, famotidine 40mg QID, cetirizine 10mg BID, GNC Ultra Mega Gold BID, tobacco smoking 1/2 pack per day.

Dx: panic disorder with agoraphobia, depression in remission, probable PTSD
