I got on cymbalta for anxiety and depression and when it pooped out I doubled my dose and my cronic migrain a went away. I have had cronic neck pain from wiplash 20 years ago and last year got TMJ really bad and this rare neuogolical disorder TN (trigeminal neualgia), I'm certain all my head and neck pain are related and come from a very bad car accident. Anyway I've had horrible pain from shoulders up that radiated down my arms, all of wich are greatly decreased with the increase in the cymbalta.
I went to my neurologist and she is now my perscribing doc for the cymbalta. My primary doc would never write high dose of any medication but my neuologist said she has patients who are on much higher dose then the 120mg I'm on. Also with the increase in the cymbalta I've been able to go down on my other pain meds, neurontin and meloxicam.
I hope this is helpful information to someone with similar issue's with cronic pain.
