When I always think of Propofol I always think of Michael Jackson's death. Propofol puts you to sleep, there's no waiting period for it to effect, you just simply fall asleep when its adminsitered so that does make it a little less addictive because there's no euphoria to be felt besdies being quickly sedated. I don't know about lower doses, I don't know if they put you into sedated state.
BUT there's no interaction at all with an MAOI. It doesnt stimulate tyramine, or nuerotransmitters that could cause a hypertension reaction. It's safe, so I think It would benefit you but when I always hear the term propofol i always think of death relating to MJ's case. but the only thing he had 1 valium 10mg and 2mg Ativan's administred 3-4 times before he injected the propofol. I'm your doctor knows what he/she's doing.
