I'm not a fan of cymbalta. If you are not feeling too bad, that is a decent clue to work with.
Hey if you are looking to switch, I would like to suggest savella. I am familiar with the whole med sensitive thing, so with savella would have to be probably 12.5mg tab cut in half....total dose for a day with b.i.d or t.i.d dosing about 12.5 - 25mg.
While fairly strong on norepinephrine, this med can actually make for really good sleep. The TCAs as you mentioned make sense. Since it's only been 2 weeks I might normally say it is way too early to make any judgements on efficacy or side effects, but in this case I am not a fan of cymbalta anyway so what's the point in hanging out with it any longer?
Jus fyi, it 'could' end up being a great med for with good sleep as well....too early to know...one of those situations where you kind of have to listen to your gut instincts whether to switch or stay.
