Yes. I feel that there is a point to going beyond 200 mg if you are not responding to it. There is a minority of people who need 300 mg of Lamictal to glean an antidepressant response. Perhaps you are in the minority. You are already there, so you might as well try increasing the dosage for a week or so. Otherwise, you might regret not taking advantage of the opportunity.
200 mg is the optimum dosage of Lamictal for me. When I go higher, cognitive impairments become profound, and there is very little, if any, additional improvement of depression.
