Sore spots on scalp and neck when taking meds

Does anyone else get spots on there head and top of neck when taking or starting a med ?
They are like small red boils, sore to touch, they appear under my hair on the scalp in various areas to the rear of my head, the crown and sometimes below the hairline at the top of the neck. My only guess is my body is trying to rid the toxins from my brain causing this condition. Sounds horrid. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this.
