so, let me see if i can word this right... does that mean that the liver doesnt have to work as hard since it avoids "first-pass metabolism"? and that it can tolerate medication better? i'm curious because i may be starting high doses of cyproheptadine that i'm getting in transdermal form from a compounding pharmacy.
