RJ,
I wish that I had an answer to your question concerning why medications seem to have no effect on you after a while. Could you do me a favor and let me know if you ever find an answer to your question, whether it's from someone on another Web site or someone else not on the Web? I can't even tolerate most medications these days, but every time I take a supplement that I find helpful, it works for a few days, a week, a few weeks, or at most, a month before losing its effects entirely. What's more puzzling is that when I try the same supplement again months later, it still has no effect. It doesn't even work for a little while and then stop like it did the first time I took it. I wouldn't blame others for thinking that maybe my responses to supplements are really placebo responses, but knowing how I feel when I do respond to supplements, I'm convinced that what I'm experiencing is not a result of the placebo effect. So, what's happening to prevent you from experiencing long-term benefits from medications and to prevent me from experiencing any benefits from supplements once they've worked for a little while and then stopped? I don't have the answer, but I wish you luck in finding it. I'm sorry if I couldn't be of more help.
