im going to post this...to help and give more knowedge to the medical documentation for doctors. I have been taking this medication for about 3 years maybe now, and its sedating and calming effects are strong with people who have behavioral problems. I believe that this could be used with stimulant medication to calm the hyperactivity of people who are restless and have anxiety conditions with ADHD. It usally causes me personally a couple years ago when I began taking it to calm the mental process down, its not like thorazine but it does give somewhat of a relief also for anxiety similar to a benzodiapine even thought its a nueroleptic. It lasts for about 20 hours max and would be good choice for people who have intense sparatic behavior that the stimulant medication does not cover, or treat completely. It will not give the dopamine release feeling that amphetamines and methyphendite does but it will calm bizarre behavior...i really think this should be documented and used because I do notice a big diffrence in the calming of the mental thought process and behavior that links to it.
