i'm in a similar boat here. (depression is my main issue, though.) if i do have mania/hypomania, it presents as anxiety, irritability, rage and poor impulse control. i'm taking 300 mg of lithium and already feel dull/cognitive blunting, but i think it is helping my mood (though i'm still irritable off and on). per your comment above re: trileptal, do you think it's a better option over lithium?
