Gabapentin (Neurontin), has been a strange drug, which I have taken for anxiety for over 10 years.
I can't comment on Restless Leg Syndrome, but I can comment on Neurontin and mood. I used to be able to get high off of it, and developed a real problem with that. Now, if I take too much, I find that I become cranky and depressed...sometimes very depressed. Also, the "sweet spot: dosage is always changing. But the effect lasts longer than benzos and is stronger for me.
I could probably write a book about me and this drug, but that would require brain power that I believe neurontin has robbed me of. Then again, being super-freaked out anxious has done nothing good for my once very good brain.
