I take risperidone to augment antidepressant and antianxiety meds - I take 1mg at night, and have done for 2 years.
I find it of great benifit, the only side effect was some drowsiness in the early stages.
I think its highly unlikely that you have developed florid diabeties after a couple of weeks on such a low dose
