Never heard of Synthroid making anyone feel low, no, but i guess anything is possible.

Feeling rotten when you wake and getting better as the day goes on is a classic sign of "endrogenous" depression - would you consider a trial of nortriptyline, at a dose of say 75mg at bedtime, to see if that helped?

As well as depression, it helps with sleep and anxiety
