Oh. I just read your post along another thread about generic Zyprexa. Your report is interesting and somewhat baffling, although stranger things are known to happen. Zyprexa can actually cause mania in some individuals! It is possible that a drug like Latuda would be a better drug for you.
You can:
1. Try taking your generic olanzapine and seeing what happens.
2. Go into the hospital in order to find another effective treatment.
3. Call your doctor and inquire about trying a different antipsychotic.
4. Call your doctor and inquire about trying a mood stabilizer like Depakote or Trileptal.
Your doctor is worried that you are either becoming suicidal or that your mania is escalating to become psychotic, even though you are not there yet. He wants to prevent either of these things from happening in the absence of 24 hour professional supervision.
