Reading for pleasure is a foreign concept to me. It just doesn't make sense that reading should be anything but a chore and hard labor. It is scary when I hear how easy it is for others to do what is so difficult for me. As I have indicated, I can get through an entire paragraph now reading word-for-word because my condition has improved. I had not been able to get beyond two sentences. I still have to skim. I imagine that there are things that are easier for me to do than they are for others. It is interesting how one illness can look so different from person to person.
