Cam I've been taking low doses of lexapro 2.5mg to 5mg for over two years along with 50mg of luvox that I've taken for approximately 11 years and recently have been cutting down the luvox now to 12.5mg and upped the lexapro to 7.5mg. Since I have a 43 year of anxiety first panic disorder I've also been on benzos first when only 24. Still take .25mg of xanax & 7.5mg of valium. I know I have tolerance as no more relaxation when take them. Never any meds during the day. I find I feel better after I've been out and the day is about over. I question if later in the day means the meds are out of my sytem somewhat and if I even need them. Unfortunately the pdoc I see is older than I and doesn't listen or seem to care so I basically see him for meds. My old pdoc and I had a good relationship she unfortunately retired. But she always said take what you feel comfortable with. Which gave me permission to "Play" with them. She didn't mind. I never took an ad till thyroid was disconvered to be hashimotos thyroiditis and menopause. I still know I feel worse after I take the synthroid even though both the endo and internet say no side effects. Also lost taste and smell 9 years ago and was told biaxin xl was probably the cause by infection control doc that was treating me for chronic lymes disease. I do not believe this as had perfect taste when on the med. So I'm very confused as to what is going on and also what to do. Stop the higher lexapro and add back the luvox to higher dose again. Or try to eliminate them all? I do find my anxiety is now internal and comes out in bodily symtoms such as rashes and other body symptoms. You sure didn't ask for all this but I've always trusted a pharmacist the most. I'm sorry to hear you have MS. I had a lumbar punction and brain MRI that ruled it out during the lymes. Sorry for the long answer. Phillipa
