Haven't tried it but it's an NMDA 'Agonist' as opposed to 'Antagonist' like Memantine. It can accelerate the rate at which fear extinction occurs. NMDA Receptor Antagonists interfere with learning and conditioning and this does the reverse. I think it would be a useful adjunct to exposure therapy for people with specific phobias...
