Those are all potent meds on the sedation/fatigue side of things, and pretty high doses too. Depakote by itself slows down electrical activity that's why it is an antiseizure med. I don't think the body can adjust back to where it was while on those meds no matter how much time.
The assumption is that the meds are causing the tiredness. But what if they aren't, what if something else is doing that? What if that something else is the same thing causing him to need all those meds in the first place?
It looks more like chronic fatigue syndrome to me than drug induced tiredness, but it could be either or a mixture of both. It frequently comes with any of the psychiatric symptoms.
Anyway, if the meds were guilty, the only way to find out would be to lower them and see what happens. Best do that slowly and with the MD in on it. imo
> bud of mine...46 male....2000mg Depakote daily split night and morning/4mg klonopin split nite and morning and 20 zyprexa and 10 abilify...constant tiredness....wouldn't body be used after being on these meds 2 years
