I find that my anxiety is worse in the summer than in the winter even though my melancholy mood follows the opposite change in seasonal patterns.
I believe that the anxiety of the warmer/lighter seasons is related to three different variables: increased sunlight, increased ambient temperature, increased humidity level.
A completely different pattern of anxious depression/mood instability for me lets loose every spring (Apr-May) which I'm pretty is correlated with tree pollen season.
Fall is by far my best season.
