No real solid advice, sorry :-(
I'm stuck on an AAP (Abilify, currently at 15) because of what is apparently "Bipolar I w/Psychotic Features," plus all kindsa agitation between episodes. A tranquilizer makes sense.
That said, its heavy artillery. If you *can* avoid an AP/AAP, you probably *should*. That's about all the advice I can give you.
