It not actually FDA Approved, but you can still get it at a compounding pharmacy with a doctors prescription. And it is available in many other countries. But there are guidelines on babble against me describing how to obtain it from those countries. But its quite simple, considering you have the internet.
Betahistine has been studied for depression and ADHD in clinical trials. As well as many other things.

Also, it poorly crosses the blood brain barrier, which is why in clinical trials, higher doses than the normal 8 and 16mg pills are used.
