I meant that minocycline can produce a somewhat uncomfortable amount of excess energy - sort of like a mild Ritalin. I did not experience this. I know someone who did feel a bit overstimulated in the first week. If I recall properly, this lasted for only 2 days.
I am by no means an expert on minocycline, but it seems safe enough to me to be worth taking.
